Individual and Family Therapy

Counselling hours are typically 50 minute sessions, allowing a 10 minute writing period (60 mins total). Extended session fees will be adjusted according to time based on 50 minute intervals.

• Session prices vary by practioner and session type. Sessions start at $150+ per session. If additional time is needed during a session fees will be adjusted accordingly.

Groups

• $250/hr base rate. The subject, size of the group, and length will affect the cost. Travel fees: time + km extra. Fees are subject to change. Groups are contract services and payment must be made two weeks prior to the agreed upon start date.

Workshops and Presentations

Fees for Reports, Forms, Letter writing: $78 per half an hour of work. 

​Payment

Accepted Payment Methods: Payment is required immediately upon booking. Acceptable methods are credit card or E-transfer (depending on provider).

​As a Registered Social Worker with a Graduate Degree I may be covered by your insurance plan. 

• If you have private health care coverage for Social Work Services, the general expectation is that you will make full payment for your session; a receipt will be provided for you to use for reimbursement purposes from your insurance provider.

• Please review your insurance coverage carefully.  The therapist is a Registered Social
  Worker.  You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate coverage under your individual plan. 

• Registered Social Workers are authorized as Medical Practitioners under the Income Tax Act for the purpose of claiming medical expenses on income tax returns.
   

I am pleased to advise that I am an approved provider for the following health insurance programs:
 

• Blue Cross (Please contact Blue Cross prior to making an appointment. Some benefit packages do not include social work services)

• Non-Insured Health Benefits Program

• Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program (IRS RHSP)

Cancellation and No-Show Policy

• Please provide as much notice as possible if you are unable to keep your appointment. A minimum of 48 hours notice is required if you cannot keep your appointment. If you do not provide sufficient notice or do not show up for your appointment, you will be charged the full hourly rate for the amount of time you had been booked.
• If weather and/or road conditions make it impossible to attend your in-person meeting, please be advised this policy is still in effect as arrangements can be made to attend virtually.
